Country of Origin: Japan (Sencha), India (Ginger)
Ingredients: Japanese Sencha Green Tea, Ginger Powder, Dried Ginger.
Information: Our ginger green tea is a blend of ginger and Japanese Sencha. It has a gingery, mildly spicy profile. If you like ginger beer or ginger ale, the chances are that you will enjoy this tea as well. Ginger has a lemon like taste and is quite pungent. Ginger tea is a spicy and healthy drink that finds favor in hot climates. Ginger is also reported to have high antioxidant properties that make it a free radical scavenger. Feeling a little depressed? Consider taking a cup of ginger green tea to relax with. Ginger green tea is a tea that can be served hot or cold.
Hot tea brewing method: Use water that is about 180’F or 80’C. Place 1-2 teaspoon in your cup, let the tea steep for about 3 minutes and then begin enjoying a cup of enchantment.
Iced tea-brewing method: (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 8-10 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 2-3 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 3 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
